XXXI International Dance & Music Festival

INVITATION
With great pleasure, we invite folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, majorette teams, modern dance groups, and other performing arts groups — including children, youth, and adults — to participate in the XXXI International Music & Dance Festival “St. Kliment Ohridski,” which will be held from August 05 - 09, 2026, in the historic lakeside city of Ohrid, Macedonia.
The festival’s theme is a celebration of St. Kliment, the patron of Ohrid, whose feast day is marked on August 8. The event provides an opportunity to present the diverse cultural heritage of various nations, while fostering international friendships and sharing artistic traditions through dance and music.
GENERAL RULES
The festival is a non-competitive showcase open to children’s, youth, and adult ensembles in traditional or modern styles.
Participants may include folklore dance groups, modern dance teams, choral ensembles, vocal or instrumental groups, soloists, and other performing artists.
Participation is limited to three groups per country.
Groups should not exceed 50 members total, including performers, leaders, and musicians.
Each dance ensemble should prepare a minimum of two choreographies with a total duration of 12–15 minutes, performed with live orchestra or USB music.
Choral ensembles should perform two songs, totaling 12–18 minutes in a free program.
Performances will be held in the evenings to allow for daytime sightseeing and excursions.
Each group must send a short biography and group photos, bring their national flag, and organize their own arrival and departure transportation.

INSURANCE & EXTENSION
Each group is responsible for personal and health insurance.
First aid and medical care will be available. Groups must cover any additional medical services.

AIRPORT TRANSFER
Free transport available for groups arriving at Ohrid Airport.
Transfers from Skopje, Tirana, or Thessaloniki Airports (approx. 200 km) can be arranged at additional cost, depending on group size.

You’ll instantly receive an email confirming we got your application.
Step 3 — Application Number
Within 2 days you’ll receive your Application Number and required materials list.
Step 4 — Review
WOFA reviews your application and checks availability.
Step 5 — Acceptance
If accepted, you’ll receive an Invitation Letter and deposit instructions.
Deposit must be paid within 10 days.
Step 6 — Secure Your Spot
Send us your deposit confirmation. Your participation is officially confirmed.
Step 7 — Finalization
A WOFA coordinator will guide you through the final steps: participant list, travel details, and performance info.
