INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL "ANTALYA FEST"

All folklore groups are free to apply for the festival without the age limit or the limit of the participants.

Turkey's fastest growing city, Antalya is blessed with an ideal climate and a stunning setting atop a limestone plateau, with the formidable Beydağları looming to the west. In the heart of town, the pretty yacht harbour huddles below the Roman walls, while behind the new buildings the crescent of Konyaaltı bay curves to the industrial harbour 10km west of town. The crown of Turkey, the green emerald beaches, the sight of Antalya can cut your breath wit it`s stunning beauty. On your arrival, your first thouth will be that you are dreaming, that is Antalya, the city that every year atracts more and more tourists from all over the world to come and enjoy the summer time vacations on this heavenly place.

FESTIVAL PROGRAM

1 Day 09.08

 

  • 14:00 Arrival to Antalya. Accommodation in the selected accommodation unit. Free time for the individual activities.
  • 19:00 Dinner
  • 22:30 Optional night out in the local tavern.
  • Overnight.

 

2 Day 10.08

 

  • 07:30 Breakfast
  • 10:00 Press Conference / Meeting with the local ensembles, other participants and the local authorities.
  • 12:00 Free time on the beach.
  • 17:00 Dinner
  • 21:00 Optional going in the disco club/ Restaurant with the live music

 

3 Day 11.08

 

  • 07:30 Breakfast
  • 11:00 Optional city sightseeing of Antalya.
  • 17:00 Dinner
  • 18:30 Gathering of the groups. Defile.
  • 19:30 Opening ceremony of the the festival. Performances of the groups
  • (The detailed program of the festival and the order of appearances will be submitted to the groups on their arrival)

 

4 Day 12.08

 

  • 07:30 Breakfast
  • Free time on the beach
  • 19:00 Closing ceremony of the festival, plaque and diploma award, exchange of the presents between the groups and the organizers. End of the festival.
  • 22:30 Party /dinner in the restaurant with the live music (Optional)
  • Overnight.

 

5 Day 13.08

 

  • 07:30 Breakfast
  • 10:00 Optional historical sites sightseeing.
  • Free time on the beach.
  • 17:00 Dinner
  • 21:00 optional night out in the typical Turkish tavern. Goodbye party.

 

6 Day 14.08

  • 07:30 Breakfast
  • 12:00 Departure groups. End of service

PRICE PER PERSON: 139 euro / 3*** hotel 

APARTMANS: 119 euro

Price includes:

Accommodation in the hotel in base HB / breakfast and dinner / Participation on the festival

Plaques, Souvenirs, diploma, photo, DVD. Companion during the festival

Price does not include:

Optional excursions, night outs, parties, sightseeing.

Insurance for passengers, bus parking fee (where required), foreigner city tax (where required, for the participants above 14. Y.o. excluded the group leaders and drivers) Other individual costs of the participants.
