International Festivals “DANCES & SEA”

Groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.

We invites you to take a part on the InternationalFestival “DANCES & SEA” that will take place in Kusadasi, famous holiday place on the Aegean coast of Turkey. There are 3 terms of the festival: 20-25 April 2015, 15-20 May and 28 September to 03 October 2015. It is possible for 4 day stay regarding the group wish, that is 21-25 April 2015, 16-20 May and 29 September to 03 October 2015.

 

 

            The Festival does not have competitive character and the main concept of the same is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares. The festival is open for folk ensembles and orchestras regardless of the members gender and age.

18.30 – 19.00    Parade through Kusadasi with costumes
19.00 – 21.00    Concert in Kusadasi (performance 10-15 min per group)
21.00 – 22.00    Dinner
 
3rd Day

10.00 – 18.00    Excursion to Ephesus (Efes) (optional with group buses)

10.00 – 19.00    Free afternoon (possibility to visit some attractions like Adaland, Kusadasi Castle or organized boat trip)

21.30 – 23.00    Gala Dinner with the leaders of the groups and giving of the Diplomas (2 person per group)

GENERAL CONDITIONS

 

1. Registration:

            Deadline for registration to participate in the festival is 01.03.2015 for the terms in April and May and 01.07.2015 for the term in September. The following application documents must be provided by the closing date :

 

a) The fully completed application form. When filling in these forms, please use Latin letters;

b) A short biographyof the group, digitally if possible;

c) A photoof the group in a form suitable for reproduction

 

2. Costs:

 

2.1. Accommodation:

            Hotels in Kusadasi, full board (3 meals per day) is the following depending number of nights that group will stay:

 

            100 euro per person for 5 nights.

            80 euro per person for 4 nights.

 

            The rooms are with 2, 3 and 4 beds.

            The group have to arrive in Kusadasi starting with lunch and have to depart after the breakfast.

 

2.2. Travel expenses

            The travel to and from the Festival have to be organised by the groups (their participants and accompanying persons) themselves. Travel expenses are borne by the participating groups themselves.

 

3. Performance

            You have to prepare the performing program from 10-20 min per performance. The play-back (CD or USB) is allowed. The final Program of the festival will be send additionally.
