INVITATION

We invite you to join us in the beautiful capital of Bulgaria, Sofia.

The festival is held under the auspices of the Mayor of Sofia – Oborishte, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Embassy of Spain, the Instituto Cervantes, and the National Palace of Culture. Sofia, with its rich history and vibrant cultural scene, provides the perfect setting for this celebration of popular music and dance, fostering international communication and artistic exchange.


 FESTIVAL WELCOMES

Creative collectives and individual performers in:
Choreographic Art: Classical, Ballroom, Modern, National, Pop, Social Dances, Mixed Styles.
Instrumental Music: Modern, Pop, National, Classical, Ethnical.
Vocal: Choirs, Ensembles, Quartets, Trios, Duos, Soloists.


 GENERAL RULES

Participants must prepare two acts (max 4 minutes each). No limit for online participation.
Performance language: Spanish or any Romance language (French, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian). Others may be accepted.
Musicians/Dancers: Must perform works by Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, Portuguese, or Brazilian authors, or with Spanish character (program max 8 minutes).
Groups arrange own transport. Transfers available at extra cost.
Group leaders bear full responsibility for their members. 


 ACCOMMODATION & INFO

Participation & Accommodation Package (4 days / 3 nights):

Hotel 3* (Central location, includes breakfast, near restaurants & historical sites)
3/4-bed room: 195 EUR/person (extra night: 60 EUR)
Double room: 205 EUR/person (extra night: 65 EUR)
Single room: 250 EUR/person (extra night: 80 EUR)

Additional Participation Fees:
Soloists: 75 EUR (additional category: +55 EUR)
Duets/Small Groups (3-5 people): 120 EUR (second song: +50 EUR)
Groups (6+ people): 180 EUR total
Online Participation: 50 EUR per performance
One free place for the director in groups of 40+ people.

Contest Schedule:
April 3: Instrumental and Classic categories
April 4-5: Singing and Dance for all age categories
April 5 (Afternoon): Award Ceremony in Sofia
All contestants will have 1 minute of rehearsal time on stage

 CONTEST & AWARD INFO

Main Contest Directions:
Performances in Spanish or Romance languages (French, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian). Musicians/Dancers perform works with Spanish/Latin character.

Awards & Prizes:
11 Contests: Best performance of Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, Portuguese, Classic, Jazz, Folklore, Teacher/Student (“My Music Family”), Instrumental, and Dance
Grand Prix Awards: Including Junior, and for each language/category
All Participants: Certificates, cups, and medals
Top Prizes: Originally designed trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category; First Diploma awards
Special Prize: 1 hour of free studio recording in Sofia

Festival Jury:
International jury selected by the Organizing Committee. Judges score performances on a scale of 50-100. Judges cannot evaluate contestants from their own country. The Grand Prix winner may be invited as a guest jury member or performer for the next year’s competition.
