International Festival-Competition “FIESTA”

INVITATION
We invite you to join us in the beautiful capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, for the International Festival “FIESTA”. This festival is organized under the auspices of the Department of Education of the Embassy of Spain and the Mayor of Sofia.
Goals of the Festival:
To showcase art as a powerful opportunity for communication between people.
To build international contacts between different countries from all over the world.
The festival welcomes singers, dancers, and musicians (pianists, guitarists, violinists, etc.) from different countries to participate by their choice – online or live.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Festival Welcomes:
Choreographic Art: Groups, collectives, ensembles, soloists in Classical Dance, Ballroom Dance, Modern Dance, National Folk Dance, Pop Dance, and Social Dances.
Instrumental Music: Ensembles, orchestras, quartets, trios, duos, and soloists in Modern, Pop, National, and Classical Music.
Vocal: Choirs, ensembles, quartets, trios, duos, and soloists in Modern, National, Academic, Pop, Jazz, Rock, and more.
Children, youth, and adult creative groups and individual performers with no age limit can take part.
General Rules:
Participants must prepare two acts accompanied by background music (max. 4 minutes each). No limit for Online participation.
Performances should be in Spanish or another Romance language (French, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian); other languages may be accepted. Instrumentalists and dancers must perform music by Romance language authors or with Spanish character (program max. 8 minutes).
Music must be sent via email 14 days prior to the competition.
All participants will be given a 1-minute rehearsal on stage.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to use and distribute audio and video from the event.
ACCOMMODATION & FEE INFORMATION
Accommodation at a 3-star hotel in the center of Sofia.
Participation & Accommodation Fee:
195 EUR per person – 3 nights in a 3/4-bed room, Bed & Breakfast
205 EUR per person – 3 nights in a double room
250 EUR per person – 3 nights in a single room
Additional Participation Fees:
Soloists: 65 EUR (for an additional category: 35 EUR)
Duets/Small Groups (3–5 people): 100 EUR
Groups (over 6 people): 160 EUR
Additional Costs:
Tourist tax (not included)
Extra night: 60–80 EUR per person (depending on room type)
Visa, medical insurance, and transport charges
Included by Organizers:
3-night hotel stay (Bed & Breakfast)
Excursion and sightseeing in Sofia
Prizes, souvenirs, gifts, and International Diplomas
Entrances to Gala Concert
Transfers from the hotel to the stage
One free salsa or Bulgarian dance lesson and party
Support from a hostess during the festival

Contest Schedule:
3 April – Category Instrumental and Classic
4–5 April – All age categories for Singing and Dance
5 April (Afternoon) – Award Ceremony in Sofia
Age Categories (determined by age on 25 March 2025):
Under 8 years
9 – 12 years
13 – 15 years
16 – 18 years
19 years and more (no limit)
Prizes and Awards:
Grand Prix and Grand Prix Junior for singers, dancers, and musicians
Special Grand Prix awards for the best performance of Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, and Portuguese song/dance
Originally designed trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category
All participants receive certificates, cups, and medals
Additional prizes include 1 hour of free studio recording in Sofia and diplomas from the city

Optional excursions will be provided upon arrival.
