INVITATION

We invite you to participate in the “BUDAPEST ETNO FEST,” taking place from November 6–9, 2025, in Budapest, Hungary. This event welcomes folk ensembles, choral groups, ballroom dance teams, art schools, music theatre, modern dance teams, orchestras, and majorette teams — including children and youth groups — to share their cultural traditions through dance and music in one of Europe’s most enchanting cities.

 ABOUT BUDAPEST

Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is a dynamic city split by the majestic Danube River into Buda, with its historic charm, and Pest, a lively cultural hub. Known for its thermal baths, grand architecture, classical music, and vibrant nightlife, Budapest offers an ideal setting for an international folklore festival.

 PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

Participants: Folk dance ensembles, choirs, vocal groups, musical orchestras. All ages are welcome.
Groups must submit a history of their ensemble, 3–5 photos, and a video clip or performance link.
Each group should bring its national flag and name panel.
Groups will have 1–2 performances and should provide their own music, orchestra, or USB/CD.
All participants must have international health insurance.
Group leaders are responsible for ensuring participants respect hotel policies and festival regulations.
The organizer reserves the right to modify the program if necessary.
By applying, groups agree to all festival conditions.

 ACCOMMODATION

3-Star Hotels:
139 EUR per person for 3 nights (BB – bed and breakfast, rooms 1/3 and 1/2, up to 5 double rooms; extra double rooms +3 EUR per person per day).
Supplement for a single room: 30 EUR per day.

4-Star Hotels:
149 EUR per person for 3 nights (BB – bed and breakfast, rooms 1/2 and 1/3).
Supplement for a single room: 35 EUR per day.

Special Offer: 1 free spot per 26 participants (25 paying + 1 free).
Bus drivers are included in the total group count.

 APPLICATION & PAYMENT DETAILS

Groups must fill out an application form to participate.
A 10% guarantee fee is required in advance (deducted from the final payment).
A €20 per person reservation fee is also required and deducted from the final payment.
All bank transfer fees are covered by the group.
The remaining balance may be paid by bank transfer before arrival or in cash upon arrival.
If a group cancels less than 5 days before the festival, the reservation fee is non-refundable.

 PROGRAM

Day 1 – November 6, 2025 (Arrival in Budapest)
After 15:00: Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
Meeting with group leaders.
Free time to explore Budapest.

Days 2 & 3 – November 7–8, 2025 (Festival Days)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free time for sightseeing and optional excursions.
Evening performances featuring folklore groups from around the world.

Day 4 – November 9, 2025 (Departure)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out and departure.
Option to extend stay upon request.

 EXCURSIONS

Excursions will be organized upon arrival, giving groups the opportunity to explore the cultural and historical treasures of Budapest through a variety of sightseeing options.
