International Dance and Music Festival ''THE TOWN OF PRINCES''

INVITATION
We are pleased to invite folk groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from around the world to participate in the festival taking place in Celje and Rogla, Slovenia. This festival offers a unique opportunity to present your cultural traditions, enjoy a warm Slovenian welcome, and experience a rich program of performances, excursions, and cultural exchange.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
The festival welcomes all ages with no limits on group size. Each ensemble is expected to actively participate in the festival concerts and activities. To register, groups must submit an application form, providing details of participants and agreeing to the festival terms.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Accommodation will be provided in bungalows at Rogla Resort (3-star rating). Participation Fee: €185 per person. Additional days can be booked at €55 per person per day.
The fee includes participation in the festival concert, half-board buffet meals, diplomas, and gifts for participants.
Additional costs not included in the participation fee are a travel tax of €2.50 per person per day (payable on-site), registration fee of €3 per person (payable on-site, one-time), transport, optional programs, excursions, and insurance.
Rogla Bungalows: Apartments accommodate 4–5 people (40 m²) with a kitchenette, sofa bed, and living area on the ground floor, plus two attic rooms with separate beds accessible by steep stairs. Each bungalow has a private entrance, terrace, separate bathroom, shower, and toilet, with cable TV and telephone. Groups booking five 5-person bungalows receive two additional 2-person bungalows at the same rate without extra charges.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Day 1: Arrival and check-in, orientation meeting with organizers.
Day 2: Breakfast, free program with recommended visits to Rogla Plateau for hiking or the Treetop Walk, early dinner, festival concert in Celje, performances by all groups with gifts and diplomas.
Day 3: Breakfast, free day to explore Celje, Mozirje, or Maribor (optional excursions), evening dinner.
Day 4: Breakfast and departure.
This festival provides an unforgettable backdrop for cultural exchange and artistic expression in Slovenia, combining historic sites, natural beauty, and warm hospitality.
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Participants can explore Celje and nearby attractions during free program time. Highlights include:
Rogla Plateau: Hiking trails, forests, and meadows, including Lovrenška jezera, Ribnica Hut, Osankarica, and Lake Črno jezero. Optional Treetop Walk Pohorje offers elevated forest paths with panoramic views.
Celje: Known as the Town of Princes, featuring medieval Celje Castle, green urban areas, and the unique Žalec Green Gold Fountain.
Mozirje: Picturesque town in the Upper Savinja Valley with alpine scenery, Golte Landscape Park, and wellness centers.
Maribor: Cultural heart of the Štajerska region, surrounded by wine-growing hills and historic attractions, including the world’s oldest vine, numerous festivals, and top culinary experiences.
