XI International Folk Dance & Music festival “BODRUM SUMMER FEST”

INVITATION
We cordially invite children and youth folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, modern dance groups, majorette teams, and music bands from around the world to participate in the International Festival in Bodrum, Turkey, taking place from 09 to 13 June 2026. This festival celebrates cultural diversity, artistic excellence, and international friendship through music, dance, and performance in a stunning seaside setting.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Arrival: Participants must arrive in Bodrum by 10 June (hotel check-in time: 14:00). Departure is scheduled for 14 June (starting at 11:00 a.m. after breakfast).
Groups should prepare at least two dances, each lasting 6–10 minutes, with USB or orchestral accompaniment. Each group must bring a flag of their country and a minimum of three gifts for municipal visits and festival organizers (optional). Participation is limited to three groups per country. Interested groups must submit an application form. Completed and signed applications indicate acceptance of festival terms. A short CV and a minimum of five photos of the group must be submitted via email. By 20 March, each group should provide a list of participants including names, surnames, gender, date of birth, and passport numbers. Groups must arrange their own transportation for arrival and departure. Airport and festival transfers will be provided free of charge for groups arriving by plane.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Accommodation will be provided in 4-star hotels in Bodrum. Triple and quadruple rooms are available.
Participation fee: 120 Euros for a 4HB (3 nights with 2 meals per day). Supplement for double rooms: 52 Euros/person/day. Supplement for single rooms: 62 Euros/person/day.
The fee includes 4-star hotel accommodation, all-inclusive service (meals and drinks), welcome cocktails with group leaders, a souvenir and gift for each group, certificate of attendance, and drinks during performances.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Day 1: 14:00 Arrival in Bodrum, hotel check-in, and free time at the beach. 18:00–20:00 Dinner at the hotel. 21:00 Welcome reception with group leaders.
Day 2: 07:00–10:00 Breakfast. 10:00–15:00 Sightseeing in Gumusluk and Yalikavak (optional) or free time at the beach. 17:30–18:30 Dinner at the hotel. 19:30 Ensemble parade. 20:00 Official festival evening in the city square.
Day 3: 07:00–10:00 Breakfast. 10:00–18:00 Daily boat excursion with swimming and lunch (optional visit to Kos Island). 17:30–18:30 Dinner at the hotel. 20:00 Second festival evening (optional).
Day 4: 07:00–10:00 Breakfast. 10:30–12:00 Visit to the Municipality and reception with the Mayor. 19:00–20:00 Dinner at the hotel. 21:00 Closing ceremony, presentation of certificates and gifts, and final party with all participants.
Day 5: 07:00–10:00 Breakfast. 12:00 Departure.
PARTICIPATION FEE EXCLUSIONS
Transport for arrival and departure, optional boat tour programs, aquapark entries, other excursions, and insurance are not included. An invitation letter will be provided if needed.
EXCURSION INFORMATION
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in various excursions, including aquapark and yacht trips at an extra cost, sightseeing tours of Gumusluk and Yalikavak with optional free beach time, and daily boat excursions exploring the Bodrum Peninsula or visiting Kos Island (optional).
