INVITATION
We are delighted to invite Folk Ensembles, Choral Groups, Brass Bands, Orchestras, Modern Dance Groups, and Majorette Teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the X International Music & Dance Show of the People of the World “BEST FEST BRUXELLES,” taking place from April 9–12, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium. This festival celebrates artistic diversity, fosters cultural exchange, and promotes performance excellence among talented groups from around the world.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
The festival is open to groups of 5 or more participants. Solo performers and small groups require special approval. It welcomes folk ensembles, choirs, orchestras, majorette ensembles, vocal-dance groups, and professional or amateur collectives. The festival is non-competitive, allowing only 3–4 groups per country. Each group must present at least three performances or a program lasting 10–15 minutes, using live or recorded music.
Participation fees are €25 per person for groups of 5–10 participants and €20 per person for groups of 11 or more. All participants will receive a “Cultural Ambassador” diploma, festival medals, and souvenirs. Each group will also receive a festival cup, special recognition for group leaders, and awards for artistry and innovation. Groups must provide a brief description, 2–3 photos, their country flag, and a group banner. Optional gifts for cultural exchange are encouraged. A 30% deposit is required to confirm participation, which is deducted from the final payment. Submitting an application confirms acceptance of all festival rules. The festival is limited to 400 participants, so early registration is recommended.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Participants will stay in 3-star hotels in Brussels with comfortable rooms and standard amenities. Room arrangements include 4–6 participants per room, while group leaders (for groups of 40+) will stay in 2–3 participant rooms. The festival package costs €250 per person and includes a 4-day/3-night hotel stay with half-board meals (dinner on arrival, breakfast on departure), a walking tour of Brussels, a visit to the European Parliament for group representatives, official festival invitations, coordination, technical support, and promotion.
Additional costs include extra nights (€60 per person with breakfast), transfers between Brussels Charleroi Airport and festival venues, visa fees, transportation, and personal expenses. Medical insurance is mandatory but is the responsibility of participants.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Day 1
Arrival in Brussels and hotel check-in. Performance in the European Parliament concert hall (TBC), dinner, and a welcome reception for group leaders.
Day 2
Breakfast and Brussels city tour. Visit to the European Parliament for selected group representatives. Free time to visit museums. Festival preparation followed by a festive parade through Brussels’ main streets and official festival opening performances in a central square.
Day 3
Breakfast and optional excursion to Antwerp (€65 per person). Return to Brussels for festival performances. Evening festival event in a Brussels theater (venue TBC), followed by the Awards Ceremony and Festival Closure.
Day 4
Breakfast, hotel check-out, free time, and departure from Brussels.
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Participants can explore Brussels and other Belgian cities during the festival. The festival package includes a walking tour of Brussels visiting the European Quarter, House of European History, Wiertz Art Gallery, and European Parliament Museum, with a visit to the European Parliament for 5–7 group representatives. Participants also have free entry to the Dinosaur Museum or History Museum.
Optional excursions to Antwerp include roundtrip transport from Brussels, a guided tour of Antwerp’s historic center, the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of Our Lady, Peter Paul Rubens’ residence, and the historic city square. Excursions must be booked at least 25 days before the festival.
