INVITATION
With pleasure we INVITE you (folk groups, dance ensembles, vocal and choir groups, majorette teams, orchestras) to participate in the International Folklore Festival “SAN REMO FOLKLORE NOW,” which will be held in Genoa, Italy, from April 24–27, 2026.
The festival’s goal is to present the cultural traditions of different countries, foster international friendships, and allow groups to showcase their culture through music and dance. Genoa, with its historic alleyways, Piazza de Ferrari, Boccadasse seaside neighborhood, and rich maritime history, offers a unique and inspiring environment for this cultural exchange.
ACCOMMODATION INFO
Accommodation is arranged in 3- or 4-star hotels. Rooms are triple occupancy, with a €5 per person per night surcharge for double rooms. A city tax of €3 per person per night applies.
Participation Fee: €180 per person, including 3 nights with continental breakfast. One free spot is provided for every 26th participant (25+1).
Groups must submit music in MP3 format for each choreography during application. Full payment is required after confirmation of details. Professional assistance and organizational costs are included in the fee.
PROGRAM INFO
Day 1: Arrival in Genoa in the morning, optional city tour (Piazza de Ferrari, Opera House, Doge’s Palace, Christopher Columbus’ house), continue along the Riviera of Flowers. Check-in at hotel in late afternoon, free time, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Breakfast, optional excursion to Cannes, Nice, and Monaco, including major landmarks and cultural sites. Free time in the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Breakfast, festival activities throughout the day, optional afternoon excursion to San Remo (Russian Church, Casino, Corso Matteotti, Ariston Theater, and old town). Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Breakfast, check-out, optional trip to a shopping center before departure.
EXCURSIONS INFO
Optional excursions include guided tours of Genoa, San Remo, Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and local shopping centers.
The festival provides an enriching cultural experience combining performances, sightseeing, and interactive activities for all participants.
