INVITATION
We invite you to join us in the beautiful city of Tbilisi, Georgia, for an unforgettable celebration of folklore and cultural heritage. The festival welcomes folklore groups from around the world and different regions of Georgia.
PARTICIPATION INFO
Eligibility:
Folklore groups of all ages are invited. The festival includes the following categories:
Folklore dances
Folklore songs (ensembles and individuals)
Songs and romances
Folklore handcraft arts (exhibitions)
Performance Requirements:
Each group will present two shows, each lasting 3–5 minutes. In the final concert, all participating artists will perform one collective performance. Live music or phonograms may be used.
Participants are required to submit their program, including audio and video files of previous performances, as well as materials for the festival’s newspaper and booklet.
Awards:
Festival participants will receive Festival Laureate Diplomas and various presents.
Application and Fees:
All groups must submit an application form. Upon approval, a 10% guarantee fee is required (deducted from the final payment).
Advance Payment: 50% of the total fee upon confirmation; remaining 50% at least one week before the festival.
ACCOMMODATION INFO
Participation fees per person (5 days) include hotel accommodation, 3 daily meals, and in-country transportation:
250 EUR – 3–4 bed rooms
350 EUR – 2-star hotel (2, 3, 4-bed rooms)
400 EUR – 3-star hotel (2, 3-bed rooms)
500 EUR – 5-star hotel (2, 3-bed rooms)
Special Conditions:
Every 16th participant of a group is exempt from the festival fee.
Supplement for a double room: 5 EUR/day per person
Supplement for a single room: 10 EUR/day per person
PROGRAM INFO
The festival focuses on the development and popularization of Georgian and world folklore arts, fostering creative contacts and enhancing the skills of choreographers and performers.
Performances:
Each group presents two shows, 3–5 minutes each.
A conclusive concert will feature one performance from each group.
All participants must submit their performance program, along with audio and video files and relevant materials for the festival booklet.
EXCURSIONS INFO
Optional tours and excursions are available at an additional cost. Groups can explore the beautiful sights of Tbilisi and other parts of Georgia.
