INVITATION

We invite you to join us in Hong Kong for an unforgettable international cultural exchange through dance and friendship. The festival will take place from 17 to 23 July 2026, with arrival on 16 July (Thursday) and departure on 24 July (Friday).

This vibrant event gathers dance groups from around the world to perform and share their national traditions on Hong Kong’s dynamic stages, blending global culture with the city’s rich heritage.

Festival Welcomes
Dance groups from all over the world.

General Rules
Participants must be between 13 and 35 years old (born between 1991 and 2013).
Each group may have up to 24 members, including a maximum of 4 accompanying staff.
The application deadline is 15 October 2025 (Wednesday).
The organizer reserves the right to select appropriate dance groups.
Confirmed invitations will be issued by the fourth quarter of 2025.
Each group is responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses to and from Hong Kong.

Performance Requirements
Indoor performance (night): maximum 8 minutes per group.
Outdoor performance (evening): maximum 5 minutes per group.
Parade (evening): approximately 1.5 hours with 2–3 performance spots (maximum 2 minutes per spot).
Flashmob performance (afternoon or evening): maximum 5 minutes.
Performers must wear traditional or national costumes representing their country or region.
Groups must prepare their own scenery and props.
Costumes, scenery, or props containing political elements are prohibited.
No changes to the arranged program will be allowed.

 ACCOMMODATION

The organizer will provide accommodation for all participants from 16–24 July 2026 (8 nights total).
Rooms will accommodate 2–4 persons each.

Meals
The organizer will arrange meals for all members throughout the entire event.

Additional Support
Local transport will be provided for all organized festival activities.
The organizer will provide medical insurance for accidents during official activities.
Participants are required to purchase their own personal travel and medical insurance.

 PROGRAM

The festival program will include:
Indoor and outdoor performances
Parade through city streets
Flashmob performances
Artistic Performance Workshops (2 hours each)
Cultural tour of local attractions

Dance Group Responsibilities
All participating groups must:
Attend all official activities and scheduled performances.
Remain in Hong Kong for the duration of the event.
Follow all instructions and arrangements from the organizing team.
Arrive punctually to all events (no late arrivals or early departures).
Refrain from any public political or religious activities.
Cooperate fully with organizers to ensure the success of the event.
Cover all expenses not specified in these regulations.

EXCURSIONS
Cultural Activities
A guided cultural tour of local attractions will be organized by the hosts, offering participants the chance to experience the essence of Hong Kong.

Workshops
Participants will join Artistic Performance Workshops, with venues and basic audio equipment provided by the organizer.
Any additional materials or equipment required for workshops must be brought by each dance group.
