INVITATION

We invite you to join us in the beautiful Eastern Sicily, a popular tourist destination known for its magnificent nature and rich historical background.

The festival will be held in some of the most beautiful baroque churches in the region of Catania, Messina, Acireale, and Taormina, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable cultural exchange during the festival from 31st October – 2nd November 2025.

The festival welcomes polyphonic choirs, gospel choirs, male, female, or mixed choirs, youth choirs, alpine choirs, local parish choirs, and children choirs.

General rules:
Each choir will perform in its own style, which must be religious or sacred.
Each choir can perform “a cappella” or accompanied by an organ (provided) or other musical instruments (brought by the choir).
At the end of the final festival night, all participating choirs will unite and sing one song together.
Participating groups should take the festival accommodation packages.
Each group is responsible for airfare or transportation to Catania, Sicily.

Day 1
Possible arrival of certain groups and transfer to the hotels

Optional excursion to the famous Etna Volcano

Day 2
Arrival of all other groups in the morning (before 13:00)
Lunch at the hotel (for half board groups)
Evening: First Festival Night with the participation of local choirs

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel
Free morning or optional excursions to Syracuse, Catania, Etna Volcano, Gole Alcantara, etc.
Lunch at the hotel (for half board groups)
Evening: Second Festival Night with the participation of local choirs

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel
Free morning or optional excursions
Lunch at the hotel (for half board groups)
Evening: Final Festival Night with official presentations to all choirs by the local authorities

Day 5
Departure of all groups
Depending on departure time, optional excursion possible
