INVITATION

 We invite you to join us in the beautiful Sicilian Ionian coastal area, including the “Pearl of Sicily,” Taormina. This magical area is known for its mild climate, panoramic views, ancient monuments such as the Greek Theatre, and luxuriant vegetation, creating an unforgettable setting for cultural exchange during the festival from 22nd – 24th May 2026.

The festival welcomes all kinds of folklore groups.

General rules:
The festival programme includes parades and fixed performances.
During parades, groups will perform live with their own instruments.
During fixed performances, an audio system (compatible with CDs and pen drives) and up to 5 microphones will be provided.
Participating groups should take the festival accommodation packages.
Each group is responsible for airfare/transportation to Sicily.

 ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation in a 3-star hotel in the Ionian coastal area.

Participation Fee (3 Nights, Transfers Included):
Half Board (HB): 260 EUR per person (twin/triple/quad). 3rd/4th person: 245 EUR
Bed & Breakfast (BB): 225 EUR per person (twin/triple/quad). 3rd/4th person: 210 EUR

Participation Fee (3 Nights, Transfers Excluded):
Half Board (HB): 225 EUR per person (twin/triple/quad). 3rd/4th person: 210 EUR
Bed & Breakfast (BB): 195 EUR per person (twin/triple/quad). 3rd/4th person: 175 EUR

Children up to 2 years: free
Extra nights: 45 EUR per person/night (BB), 55 EUR per person/night (HB)

 PROGRAM

Day 1
Morning: Arrival of all groups and hotel accommodation
Day: Optional cultural excursion (depending on arrival time)
Late afternoon: Parade/performance by all participating groups

Day 2
Free morning or optional cultural excursion
Late afternoon: Parade/performances by all participating groups

Day 3
Free morning or optional cultural excursion
Evening: Final performances and parades. Presentation of mementos to all groups

Day 4
Departure of all groups

 EXCURSIONS

Optional excursions (extra paid):
The organisation can create a tailor-made programme for a group, including excursions or extra lunches/dinners.
Guided cultural excursions to popular tourist destinations in Sicily (e.g., Taormina and its surroundings)
