XI International Choir Festival “VIENNA CANTAT”

INVITATION
We are delighted to invite Choral Groups, Vocal and Singing Groups (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XI International Choir Festival “VIENNA CANTAT,” to be held from March 20–23, 2026, in Vienna, Austria.
The festival aims to celebrate the cultural traditions of different countries while fostering friendships through music. Vienna, renowned for its baroque streetscapes, imperial palaces, and rich musical heritage, provides the perfect setting for this cultural celebration.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
The festival is a non-competitive event open to Choral Groups, Vocal and Singing Groups. Groups are limited to three per country.
Participants include managers, musicians, and accompanying persons. Family members are also welcome at the same participation fee.
Each group should prepare a 12–15 minute program and bring their country’s flag. A short CV and four photos must be sent by email.
Groups are responsible for their own transportation to and from Vienna.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Two options are available for accommodation, with buffet breakfast included:
A&T Luxury Hostel (city center)
149 EUR per person for 3 nights in multiple rooms
3* Hotel
185 EUR per person for 3 nights in a 3-star hotel
4* Hotel Event Pyramide
159 EUR per person for 3 nights in multiple rooms
Tourist tax: 2 EUR per person per day (not included).
FESTIVAL ORGANIZER PROVIDES
One free spot for every 25 participants
Certificates of attendance, souvenirs, and gifts for each group
Drinks during performances
Advertising through press releases, social media, posters, and flyers
Video and photo links post-event (the festival organization retains copyright)
Optional airport transfers and transport during the festival (at group’s expense)
INSURANCE: Each participant is responsible for personal and health insurance. Medical services are not covered by the festival.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Day 1
14:00 – Arrival in Vienna, hotel check-in, free time for sightseeing
20:00–21:30 – Meeting with the festival director
Day 2
08:00–10:00 – Breakfast
10:00–15:00 – Optional city tour with local guides and free time to prepare for the evening
18:30–21:30 – Festival evening with performances, closing ceremony, and presentation of certificates and gifts
Day 3
08:00–10:00 – Breakfast
10:00–17:00 – Free time for shopping or optional visit to a medieval castle
21:00 – Free evening in Vienna
Day 4
09:00 – Breakfast
11:00 – Departure of participants

COMMUNICATION STEPS
Step 1 — Apply
Fill out the online application form with your group details.
Step 2 — Confirmation
You’ll instantly receive an email confirming we got your application.
Step 3 — Application Number
Within 2 days you’ll receive your Application Number and required materials list.
Step 4 — Review
WOFA reviews your application and checks availability.
Step 5 — Acceptance
If accepted, you’ll receive an Invitation Letter and deposit instructions.
Deposit must be paid within 10 days.
Step 6 — Secure Your Spot
Send us your deposit confirmation. Your participation is officially confirmed.
Step 7 — Finalization
A WOFA coordinator will guide you through the final steps: participant list, travel details, and performance info.
EXCURSIONS INFORMATION
Optional guided tours and cultural experiences are available, including:
City tour with professional guides
Visits to Hofburg Palace, Schloss Belvedere, Schönbrunn Palace, and the Ringstrasse
Exploration of Vienna’s coffee-house culture and shopping districts
Optional visit to a medieval castle (Day 3)
Excursion costs are not included in the participation fee and will be provided upon request.
