INVITATION

With pleasure, we INVITE you Orchestras, Brass Bands, and Majorette Teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the X International Majorette & Orchestra Festival “ADRIATIC BATON FESTIVAL” from 18–22 September 2026 in Durres, Albania.


GENERAL RULES
Non-competitive sample of Orchestras, Brass Bands, and Majorette Teams.
Every ensemble has the right to participate. Children’s ensembles (2/3 of participants must be 16 or younger), Youth ensembles (2/3 of participants must be 25 or younger), Adult ensembles (1/3 of participants must be older than 25).
Each group should consist of a maximum of 70 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians. Family members may participate at the same price.
Only 3 groups per country are allowed.
Each performance lasts 10–15 minutes with USB or orchestral accompaniment, scheduled in the evening.
A short CV in English (6–7 sentences) and 5 photos of the group must be submitted.
Each group must bring its national flag.
Groups are responsible for their own transport to and from the festival.


ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
The festival will be held at Hotel Bonita, a 5-star hotel with an outdoor swimming pool, private beach, and spa center with gym. Accommodation is provided in double rooms for leaders and drivers; triple rooms are also available.

Participation Fee:
144 € per person for 3 HB (3 nights with 2 meals)
184 € per person for 4 HB (4 nights with 2 meals)
224 € per person for 5 HB (5 nights with 2 meals)

Optional Extensions:
Extend stay at Hotel Bonita for 40 € per person (HB)
Double room supplement: 10 € per person/day
Single room supplement: 20 € per person/day

Festival Organizers Provide:
One free spot for every 25 dancers
Souvenir and gift for each group
Certificate of attendance
Welcome reception with leaders
Drinks during performances
Free parking
Advertising of the festival (press releases, social media promotions, posters)

Insurance & Additional Information:
Groups must have their own personal responsibility and health insurance. First aid and medical services will be available but covered by the group.
Tourist tax: 1 € per person/day (additional cost).

21:00 – Welcome reception with group leaders

 

Day 2
09:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast (buffet)
11:00 – 15:00 – Sightseeing in Durres
18:00 – 19:00 – Dinner (buffet)
19:30 – 23:00 – Defile on main street to the square for festival opening, followed by performances

Day 3
09:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast (buffet)
10:30 – 15:00 – Beach time or visit Kruje (entrance 2 €)
17:00 – 18:00 – Dinner (buffet)

Day 4
09:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast (buffet)
10:30 – 15:00 – Beach time or visit Kruje (entrance 2 €)
17:00 – 18:00 – Dinner (buffet)
21:00 – Party with all participants around the swimming pool

Day 5
09:00 – 11:00 – Breakfast (buffet)
11:00 – Departure of participants


COMMUNICATION STEPS

STEP 1 — APPLY
Fill out the online application form with your group details.

STEP 2 — CONFIRMATION
You’ll instantly receive an email confirming your application.

STEP 3 — APPLICATION NUMBER
Within 2 days you’ll receive your Application Number and required materials list.

STEP 4 — REVIEW
WOFA reviews your application and checks availability.

STEP 5 — ACCEPTANCE
If accepted, you’ll receive an Invitation Letter and deposit instructions. Deposit must be paid within 10 days.

STEP 6 — SECURE YOUR SPOT
Send your deposit confirmation. Your participation is officially confirmed.

STEP 7 — FINALIZATION
A WOFA coordinator will guide you through the final steps: participant list, travel details, and performance info.
