INVITATION
With pleasure we INVITE Modern Dance, Contemporary Dance, Ballet, and Postmodern Dance groups (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the II International Modern Dance Festival “PARALIA RHYTM WAVES” from 02–06 July, Paralia – Katerini, Greece 2026.
The Festival aims to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for participants to establish friendships and showcase their culture through dance and music. The festival is open to all ensembles regardless of age or gender. Performances will take place on the main square in Paralia and Olympic Beach.
GENERAL RULES
The festival is a non-competitive showcase of modern dances performed by groups. Only 3 groups per country are allowed. Each group can have up to 50 members, including dancers and managers. Groups should prepare at least 2 types of dances, totaling 15–20 minutes. Performances are in the evening, allowing free time for sightseeing and excursions. Groups must send a short CV and photos, bring a national flag, and arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
ACCOMMODATION & FEES
Participants will be accommodated in hotels and apartments in Paralia and Olympic Beach, offering 2 meals per day (half-board: breakfast and dinner). Hotel options include Yakhintos, Katerina, Xenia Zeus, Ifigenia, Despina, London, Phenix, Rainbow Resort, Passion, Kronos, Bambus, and others.
Participation fee:
3 HB (4 days / 3 nights) – 129 EUR per person
4 HB (5 days / 4 nights) – 155 EUR per person
5 HB (6 days / 5 nights) – 189 EUR per person
Additional double rooms: 12 EUR per person/day
Additional single rooms: 35 EUR per person/day
Rooms for leaders and drivers: 2 double rooms
Tourist tax: 2 EUR per person/day
Extended stay: 39 EUR per person/day (HB)
Festival organizers provide one free participant for every 24 dancers, souvenirs and gifts for each group, certificate of attendance, welcome reception with drinks for group leaders, festival advertising, and free parking. Personal responsibility and health insurance are the responsibility of the groups. Medical services are available but must be covered by participants.
For those arriving by plane, transport from Thessaloniki Airport (75 km from Paralia) can be arranged, with costs to be agreed upon based on the number of participants.

09:00 – 16:00 – Boat excursion in Thermaikos Gulf
18:00 – 19:00 – Dinner at the hotel
21:00 – Party at ALOHA Beach
Day 4
09:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
11:00 – 17:00 – Free time or optional excursion to Meteora
19:30 – 23:00 – Festival evening performance in the square in Paralia

Step 1 — Apply
Fill out the online application form with your group details.
Step 2 — Confirmation
You’ll instantly receive an email confirming we got your application.
Step 3 — Application Number
Within 2 days you’ll receive your Application Number and required materials list.
Step 4 — Review
WOFA reviews your application and checks availability.
Step 5 — Acceptance
If accepted, you’ll receive an Invitation Letter and deposit instructions.
Deposit must be paid within 10 days.
Step 6 — Secure Your Spot
Send us your deposit confirmation. Your participation is officially confirmed.
Step 7 — Finalization
A WOFA coordinator will guide you through the final steps: participant list, travel details, and performance info.
